Correlation and Causation
Correlation can be used to describe a relationship between two or more variables. As teachers, we might form hypotheses and look for data that correlates with them. However, it is important to note that correlation does not necessarily mean causation (Chivers & Chivers, 2021, pp. 8, 53).
